First Dose of Moderna on 08/19/2021 Lot #053E21A

38 yrs old

Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

I am a 6' 6" ginger-beard and long-hair loving guy. I had the perfect life, showing love to everyone. I went outta my way to help anyone I could.

It was 2021. I was doing really well in life and in my career as an insurance adjuster. I was on a steep and high catastrophic response team. I had a 4 year relationship going with a wonderful woman, and I was loving traveling for work chasing hurricane damage.

I never was one to get sick in my life, and never had ringing in my ears. Always have had a wonderful immune system.

Q: Would you like to share your reason(s) for getting the vaccine?

I did not want to get the vaccine due to my hippy beliefs. I kept getting pressure from everywhere to get it, and my mom really pushed me hard. She asked me to "please get the vaccine" every time she stopped by, with puppy dog eyes.

My cousin said it was "no big deal" when I asked if he had gotten his. He said he was going for a booster when available! So even the people I held with high regards intellectually were getting the shots.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

Sadly I caved and got 1 Moderna shot. I realized right away what I had done was wrong. I just always was a "do as your told" child, and I let that carry over to being an adult.

I feel the 1 Moderna shot caused inflammation, as I started hearing ringing in my ears only a couple weeks after getting it. I had no noise exposures inbetween ringing starting and the vaccine. I have done loud stuff in the past like most people, but like I said, never heard ringing in my life before. This ringing seemed to be coming from my head. Like neurological inflammation.

The ringing got worse and worse with noise exposures, and I was diagnosed with tinnitus and hyperacusis in Jan 2022. I went to an audiologist who specialized in tinnitus. He said not to worry, and that tinnitus is easy to live with. He told me it was my anxiety causing it to be so bad. He also said that the hyperacusis sound sensitivity would go away, to not over protect my ears, and to go on living normally. He suggested that I only wear ear protection in loud places. In hindsight I wish I had stopped work and life completely, and stayed in quiet places as much as possible.

My life has completely gone down hill since; due to seeking treatment from doctors. They gave me benzodiazepines which made everything even worse. The ringing and sound sensitivity is so bad that I am homebound and fighting for my life since April of 2022.

I feel I would never be here if I hadn't taken the vaccine. My life is in shambles and I dunno how to get it back. I am now an advocate for hearing protection and for anyone that got the vaccine to get on a low inflammation diet and detox; and live as healthy as possible and for the love of all things good... protect your ears from loud noises and ototoxic medicines.

Q: Tell us about any tests, diagnoses, and/or Medical Care received:

Hearing test. Diagnosis: Severe Tinnitus and Hyperacusis.

Q: Are there any treatments that have helped or hurt your health?

Going to ENTs for help. All they did was poison me further with benzodiazepines and amitriptyline

Q: Have you had Covid before?

No

Q: What do you wish others knew?

Protect your ears from vaccines, doctors malpractice, ototoxic medications and loud noises.
