Suzanna has been in the Financial Services industry for almost 25 years. She is currently in the Corporate Social Responsibility division. Her first job after graduating Cum Laude from Carleton College was teaching Special Education in South Louisiana. She was also valedictorian of her high school. Suzanna participated in the YWCA Women's Triathlon and she and her husband participated in the MS 150 Bike ride from Duluth to Minneapolis yearly. Currently she is unable to bike on her own due to extreme leg pain, dizziness and fatigue and often needs a walker or a cane to walk. She is experiencing brain fog, increased extreme tinnitus and joint pain. She has been diagnosed by the Mayo Clinic with either Sjogren’s Syndrome or some other Autoimmune Disease unspecified. She has also been diagnosed with Small Fiber Neuropathy through the University of Minnesota Neuro Ophthalmology. Suzanna is not anti-vax, in fact, her sister almost died and was in a coma due to not being vaccinated for the flu back in 2014, but she would like social responsibility for those who are injured.

Suzanna's Real, Not Rare Interview:

Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

I was very active and athletic. I was a long distance biker, triathlete, and waterskier with a very busy and very healthy lifestyle. My family and I love to travel and be on the go.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

After my second Pfizer shot I have constant extreme fatigue, brain fog, a rash on my forehead, loud tinnitus and joint pain. I am intermittently dizzy, my vision is blurry, my right pupil is not dilating properly, my right leg has extreme burning pain, I also get muscle spasms and twitches, and I have internal vibrations. I have had weight loss, insomnia, a bluging vein in my right leg making it very difficult for me to walk. I have extreme heart palpitations throughout the day and my blood pressue is much higher than it was before the shot. I felt like I was dying and initially told only my closest friends that something was very wrong with me.

By May 26th my husband was driving me to the Mayo Clinic hospital with my will in my hand. I felt like my whole body was shutting down.

Q: What was your life like after you got the vaccine?

I am unable to walk long distances without a cane, walker, wheelchair or frequent stops due to extreme fatigue and the burning pain in my right leg. I have to spend most of the day lying horizontal on the couch or in bed. I can no longer bike on my own as I am too weak and dizzy. My husband bought us a tandem bike and due to extreme fatigue and erratic heart rates we have only used it about 4 times. I cannot travel like I did before because it is too much walking for me.

Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:

I have to fight to be believed by most doctors if I mention this happened after the COVID-19 vaccine. I have been diagnosed with an Autoimmune disease triggered by the vaccine. Initially I was diagnosed with Sjogren's Syndrome. I have also been diagnosed with Small Fiber Neuropathy.

Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?

Reported to VAERS on May 25th and attempted to report additional information multiple times. I sent an email to VAERS on August 12, 2021 requesting a new upload session code. I have yet to hear back. I have also reported directly to Pfizer in June. They sent paperwork to my doctor to complete in August 2021. I have reached out to the Minnesota Department of Health and the CDC and was told to contact my local health representative.

Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?

Most importantly: THE KINDNESS OF OTHERS

H1 and H2 blockers as needed for Mast Cell Activation Syndrome flare ups

Vitamin C

Vitamin D3

Acupunture on my spine

Natural organic nutritional juices prepared by my neighbor

Slowing my activites way down

Q: What do you with others knew?

There is no safety net. You are on your own financially and medically if you get injured. The Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program takes 3 years to get through and pays out 8% of the time. This vaccine is not even included in the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program.

Hi Suzanna, praying for you and all of the victims on this site. I live in Shoreview, MN and received my first Pfizer on the same day as you (4/13) and have the same lot number. I experienced unusual reactions too, but not worthy enough to post a story. I was fortunate that my symptoms disappeared after a few months (at least so far). I had nurses and friends advise me to not get the second dose so I cancelled my appointments and did not receive it.

However, my 19 year old son is a story much like yours and others here. He was highly encouraged to get fully vaccinated before starting his freshman year at UW-Eau Claire. His first…
