Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

I had been giving myself 2 shots of a biologic for 6 months for very severe Psoriatic arthritis. I was 100% clear after the first month of taking Cosentyx

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

A couple days after second "vaccine" shot, the psoriasis and muscle/joint pain/stiffness came back. After a couple weeks I developed full blown psoriatic arthritis, psoriasis all over my body, and in places I did not even have it before.

Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?

It took until late December to be able to get in to see my specialist. She nodded and knew exactly what happened - and she asked if my issue returned right after I got my second shot. However, she would not say out loud it was caused by the shot.

She prescribed me 5 double doses ( 2 doses each week) and then I am supposed to go back to the 2 doses a month. I just took the fifth double dose yesterday, and it has not made one bit of difference.

Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:

There was no comment from the specialist. I was just asked if the issue returned right after second dose, almost like she knew.

Q: Where has your reaction been reported, and what was the response?

I've tried reporting my reaction to the local health unit, but the adverse reaction website sends you in circles and does not allow you to report it. Eventually I got in contact with someone there but I just gave up as they did not really care, and I felt like they did not want to hear from me.

Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?

NO

Q: What do you wish others knew?

If you have not yet taken any of these shots, do not ever do it.
