Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

I got into a healthcare service job at the start of the pandemic. Raising two kids, and I am/was their sole provider. Have always been fairly active, and never had heart issues in the past.

Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?

I was pressured at work, because it's the healthcare field, to get vaccinated. Was told that soon they may be requiring it for me to keep my job. I am the sole provider for my family, so against my intuition, I got my two doses of Pfizer.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

Within a few months of the second dose, I began having heart palpitations, had a holter monitor, but at that time they were infrequent. They began to become more frequent in subsequent months, to the point where it was multiple times a day. Then they started to slow down and happen infrequently, right up until I caught covid in January of 2022. My wife (unvaccinated) and children (also unvaccinated) got over covid with no issues, and my symptoms mirrored theirs, until the day my wife was feeling better. I woke up no longer feeling sick, stood up, and was extremely dizzy and my heart was skipping all over the place. For three months, I couldn't so much as walk the length of my house without my heart jumping out of my chest, and my heart beat was painful at all times. I was told at the hospital that "it's just covid" on multiple occasions, until they finally took it more seriously and scheduled some tests. I had a two week holter monitor, which did pick up on an irregular heart beat. Now I am seeing a cardiologist.
