Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?
Full time practice as Neurotologic Skull Base Surgeon, active golf, fishing and mountain hunting
Q: Would you like to share your reason(s) for getting the vaccine?
Work requirement, and initial virus was very bad.
Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?
12-22-20 initial dose no problems
1-11-21 second dose, developed ataxia that could control with beta blockers and clonidine. Also internal vibration and moderate anxiety. These symptoms started 1 week after injection and continued for several months, then mostly resolved before booster.
10-19-21: Booster ended my life. Developed severe ataxia (tremor on movement), nightly anxiety with hypertensive crisis. Paranoia and anxiety so severe seriously contemplated suicide. Doctors no help. I drank alcohol and this helped but wasn't enough. This lasted for 3-4 months and made it impossible to do my job. Then developed myoclonus (involuntary muscle jerking) throughout entire body constant 24 hours a day and lasted for another 2-3 months. The medical board suspended my license in July and unable to practice, although I am now 99% resolved of all symptoms.
My career has been destroyed, future is unknown. But, thank God my family is understanding and supportive.
Q: Tell us about any tests, diagnoses, and/or Medical Care received:
MD visits, Neurologist, Psychiatry, Therapist, MRI, EKG, Labs. all negative
Q: Where has your reaction been reported, and what was the response?
VAERS, one follow up and requesting more medical records
Q: Are there any treatments that have helped or hurt your health?
Clonidine was the best help for all above symptoms, and also Primidone.
Q: Have you had Covid before?
NO
Q: What do you wish others knew?
These symptoms we all share were predictable. Most doctors followed the FDA advice it was safe. What we did not know is that they only followed on 4 benign initial symptoms and specifically omitted all the others. The truth is coming out, but too late for many of us who have been destroyed by this vaccine. My opinion is that the public health experts knew about all of this and felt that they knew better and a few broken eggs was worth the risk.
