Original Interview on 11/09/2021:
Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?
I am a mother of six children, always on the go running around to different extracurricular activities and having fun with my family. I enjoyed every minute of everyday. I had a daily routine of at least thirty minutes of intense cardio and always feeling super energetic.
Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?
I didn’t have the normal fever reaction within the 24-48 hours that I had expected. My arm hurt naturally and I had a weird red reaction from the site across my chest. 2 days post my 2nd dose I began with severe pressure and headaches that were unbearable. My ears were ringing so loud that I thought I was going insane. NOTHING would make it stop. I was constantly dizzy; I couldn’t drive, cook dinner, do laundry, or perform any of the tasks I had done before on a daily basis. The lights and noise were piercing to my brain. The only way I was semi-comfortable was in complete darkness and no sounds. My blood pressure was going from dangerously high to dangerously low. I kept turning grey in my skin color and feeling like I was going to pass out. I would shake and tremor to the point i felt like I had no control of my body. After 2 weeks of trying to push through these life altering symptoms I finally began to reach out for help.
Q: What was your life like after you got the vaccine?
From being so active to not being able to perform daily tasks such as cooking dinner or doing the laundry was extremely depressing. I would stand in the kitchen and cry sometimes because no one could understand what was wrong. I tried to exercise and anytime I did any high intensity activity I felt like I could not breathe. Nothing was the same. In a matter of days my whole life changed.
Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:
I went to my original primary care. He evaluated the symptoms and said the same thing as most doctors… he could not say for certain that it was from the vaccine but he could not rule it out either. He asked if I was feeling anxious and wanted to try anxiety medication. I knew I wasn’t experiencing anxiety; in fact this was far from that. As my symptoms kept worsening I reached out to another doctor that I knew would listen and help as best as he could. He sat with he for hours going over the timeline of events and would not give up till he helped. He order mri, bloodwork and other tests. Everything kept coming back OK. He explained that I had severe inflammation causing my body to react like this. He prescribed a steroid to start it took about 3 weeks to alleviate the symptoms. It helped for sure, but I have never felt the same since January 25th. I have tried a variety of vitamins and medications to help keep the inflammation down but I wish I felt like I did before receiving this vaccine.
Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?
I reported to Vaers and haven’t heard a word.
Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?
I take aspirin, vitamin C, astaxanthin, and zinc daily. I make sure to drink a lot of water. I notice that when I eat certain things It enhances the symptoms. Sometimes feels better to just not eat as much.
Q: What do you wish others knew?
I wish others knew that these symptoms do exist. If they think they are alone, they are not.
