Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

Healthy mom of two, worked full time as a project manager and lived a normal everyday active life with my family.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

I got my first covid vaccine in July '21 and had nothing but the expected side effects the first day. Then I got my second dose, and I got a stronger reaction with flu-like symptoms (body pain, headache, fever), but I was quite ok after the first 24 hours. During the first week, I still had this headache though, that came and went multiple times. I've never had headache issues before. About a week after my second vaccine, I got a strong immune reaction with a heavy migraine and an ice pick headache, fever, pain like lightning through my body, dizziness and tachycardia. I tested several times for covid, but it all came back negative. No one around me was sick either. After a couple of days, the fever and body ache went away, but the headache remained. Since then, I'm having a persistent headache with several migraine attacks, ice pick and tinnitus. I also had dizziness, tachycardia, palpitations, shortness of breath, lightening pain through my body, sleep issues, nightmares, fatigue and brain fog with memory- and concentration problems. I've been giving blood samples, CT scan, MRIs, Holter, and nothing to find, except high levels of spike antigen from the vaccine (15 months after second dose). Now, 17 months after the vaccine, I'm on several medications and still suffer with many of these issues. The chronic migraine, fatigue and brain fog is the worst problem now, as I'm still not able to work or do what I used to before this. Even a small amount of activity triggers my migraine, heart palpitations and fatigue. I miss my life, being active with my kids and family, I miss my work, I miss mountain hiking, and I miss my social life. I've been trying out different treatments since the very beginning of this, and I have a strong hope and motivation of returning to my old life. I'm a participant in a study called CovaxHead, as our headache specialists in Norway sees what is happening, and they are trying to find medical treatment for us who suffer from this. As far as I've been able to, I've been in contact with fellow vaccine injured people in Norway through fb and the headache association. Now I'm ready to tell my story to raise awareness and to help get acknowledgement for all the vaccine injured and their families.

Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?

GP, neurologist and myself has reported this to the Norwegian Medicines Agency.

Q: Have you had Covid before?

Had covid in March '22 (sore throat, a cold and pain behind eyes). Then again in Dec '22, no new symptoms but my migraine got worse again after this.

Q: What do you wish others knew?

I wish everyone had an opportunity to get informed consent. I also wish people knew about the media censorship, and that if you experience issues after the covid vaccines, you are not alone. There are resources and support groups available.
