Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

I was always very healthy. My GP didn't even see me except on rare occasions.

Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?

I was pressured by my employer. I was not anti-vax before, so I did not expect to be damaged.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

Since that day which I call V day I have never felt well again! Within 36 hours the cold shivers began. I could not get warm. After that following in rapid succession - dizziness resulting in 3 falls , one of which resulted in concussion. After that severe muscle and joint pains most especially in my knees so that I could almost not walk. Since then extreme an ongoing tiredness, 3 outbreaks of shingles and re-activation of dormant sacral herpes. I am getting frequent outbreaks. Issues with hypertension ( not experienced before ) chronic sinusitis and severe neck pain. I now believe I have fibromyalgia and I am trying to get an appointment to confirm this. Some of the symptoms have improved but I believe my life has been blighted by this "vaccine " The worst thing is having no one to talk to. My GP and even my own family think I am some sort of crank! I am extremely angry at what has been done to those of us that have been unlucky enough to be affected. We are not acknowledged and we are ridiculed. It's a very lonely place to be and I don't know if I will ever fully recover.

Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?

Since V day I have not, for one day, felt well. I am not used to feeling like this and can see no way out.

Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:

My GP is in denial and tells me its all co-incidental, I then got to talk to a different one and told him that I was simply terrified of getting a booster. He said that he "didn't blame me" and that I have obviously had an allergic reaction so I have been granted and have a letter from the NHS saying that I am exempted from any further Covid vaccines. I believe that some of them are aware but are too afraid to speak out.

Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?

Yellow Card...no response. On AstraZeneca website. I received a case number but nothing more

Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?

Nothing I found that works. Nothing offered but some symptoms have improved. My knee pain is a lot better after my exercises . Some are worse like the repeated outbreaks of sacral herpes. Tiredness has not improved.

Q: Have you had Covid before? What was your experience if so?

I had Covid in March 2020. This could not be confirmed as no testing was available then but I KNOW I had it and my son in law also had it then. I was ill for 3 weeks but did recover from Covid.

Q: What do you wish others knew?

I want what we have suffered to be ACKNOWLEDGED and for some help to be offered to those of us that have been so cruelly affected.
