Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

I was a full-time, professional athlete and trainer.


Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?

I got the vaccine because it was required to access my gym.


Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

I had immediate pain all over. My toes went numb. After a month, the numbness spread up to my knees.


Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?

I have partial movement in my lower legs, but they're extremely tingly. Walking is difficult. I've been getting around on crutches. I'm on disability leave.


Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:

Waiting on appointments with specialists. Doctor says it could be peripheral artery disease.


Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?

Reported it to Public Health, waiting on response.


Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?

Nothing has helped. Only seems to be getting worse.


Q: What do you wish others knew?

I wish I didn't get the vaccine, but I couldn't handle the discrimination and segregation.
