First Dose of AstraZeneca on 04/01/21

England, United Kingdom

49 yrs old

Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

I trained daily, lifting weights, running. I was a size 12 and strong.

Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?

I was doing the right thing. I thought I was protecting myself and others around me.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

Headaches started the day after the jab. Lump in forehead 1 week after. Also now have loss of balance, memory loss, weight loss. I have gone from a size 12 to the size 6. New symptoms are still appearing: chest pains, sickness, tired, and very weak.

Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?

Every day is a struggle. Some days are okay, but then the bad days are bad. Every day is a struggle.

Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:

I went for a scan to rule out blood clots two weeks after the jab. Two days later, the hospital phoned me to tell me they found something from birth. I went for another scan at the end of April 2021 and it took them until October to tell me the results. They were waiting for a second opinion to tell me I have a healthy brain for my age. It's disgraceful that we all know this is under trial until 2023 and we all just get pushed aside.

Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?

Doctor put Yellow Card in.

Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?

Trying to have a positive attitude and hope, really.

Q: What do you wish others knew?

Speak out! We all need to stand together!
