Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

Much different. My entire outlook on life has changed. My faith in God has increased. My faith in government, not so much. My health is my main priority now.

Q: Would you like to share your reason(s) for getting the vaccine?

City of New York Mandate

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

No reaction or symptoms of first dose, like sugar water.

Second dose, full symptoms the following morning. Fever-like, nasty chills, along with the most severe reaction affecting the sight in my right eye. I was seeing a large dark spot a bit outside my center of vision. I noticed the major change after stepping outside and looking down the street and everything appearing drastically different.

I would go to the emergency room the following day. I was seen by the ophthalmology department. They ran their tests, had taken special photos of the eye and determined I had developed Central Serous Retinopathy, CSR, which is the retina having a leak and fluid building up within the eye in direct path of vision. Vision in my right eye dropped to 20/30 overnight.

From November to May of '22, there were a few more visits before the decision to do a laser treatment. I would like to note that though I was vocal as to the cause, the topic never gained all that much attention. Most doctors assigned to me were emphasizing that elevated stress levels were the cause, as they might’ve seen in other patients. I did hear one doctor mentioned that the retina became inflamed post vaccination.

The laser treatment worked well post procedure, and there was good improvement. The dark spot went away. Though as of writing this now, I’ve had recurring issues and the doctors appointments are beginning again.

I’ve always prided myself with having perfect 20/20 vision. Now I face these challenges and work through them.

Q: Tell us about any tests, diagnoses, and/or Medical Care received:

Diagnosis: Central Serous Retinopathy

Medical Care: Repeat visits, Continued care

Q: Where has your reaction been reported, and what was the response?

First reported to VAERS, second, to employer. No response from the government run VAERS site. My employer responded with work site injury form that I could fill out, as if I had a slip and fall incident.

Q: Are there any treatments that you tried?

Laser treatment initially, various supplements. Dr. Zelenko Products. Choq supplements.

Q: Have you had Covid before?

No. Only a false positive once from PCR test.

Q: What do you wish others knew?

So in that order I will explain. God first will be our best priority. Sounds simple, until we realize where we need to go and the call that needs to be answered. I do believe now I could have left my job, let them fire me and seen where the road would have led me. It is my single biggest regret.

Our freedoms. Now I understand it is our God-given right to be sovereign over our own bodies.

Our health. Aside from what I mentioned, as far as symptoms and reactions prior to being vaccinated, I was in a better place mentally. That is what has weighed on me heavier than anything. Thoughts that keep you up at night. Worry for loved ones as well. Being awake now has had its toll on me. I lean into God more now than ever. Jesus is Lord.

I do see my life as divided into two parts now. Before and after this V. I’ve spent the last year and a half beating myself up for this decision that I will have to live with. Though if I can help spread awareness to certain treatments and reliefs, I would hope to help this community of people.

Prioritize your health, your faith, and find good support structure. Continue staying active. I have continued my running and exercise, various saunas, Russian, Turkish (which may help break down spike proteins). Joined Jiu-Jitsu as well.
