Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?
I was healthy. I never had so much as a cold. I was learning to play my guitar again. Then Covid
Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?
I was under the impression that I must take it to get care at the va
Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?
One hour after the second shot my hands in the web between my thumb and forefinger broke out in a terrible rash that would not quit itching. My hands ached so much that I couldn’t play my guitar. To top that off two weeks later I came down with pneumonia that turned into pleurisy and I had to have major surgery to scrape the infection from my lung. I tried to discuss this with my doctor but I get my care at the va and he wouldn’t hear it
Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:
No tests were done because of the va.
Q: Have you had Covid before?
I have had Covid twice. Once in July 2021 and March of 2022 - my symptoms were mild.
Q: What do you wish others knew?
I wish that I had never taken the booster. I had no reaction from the initial shot
