First Dose of Pfizer on 9/24/21
Arkansas
Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?
I was healthy with no health problems. I worked 40 hr a week job and hung out with friends every weekend.
Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?
It was mandatory to get vaccinated to keep my job. I’m a single mom and did what I thought was right. Within 7 minutes of getting the shot, my body went limp, no control of my neck, I couldn't hold my head up, no control of my arms and legs, high blood pressure and I couldn’t speak. I had slurred and drawn out words that not one could understand. The doctor's office called 911 for an ambulance for me.
Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?
I now have these “episodes” 3-4 times a day. I never know when they are going to happen. Sometimes, I go 5-6 days without one, then bam, 4 a day for 6-7 days in a row. I cannot drive. I have to have someone with me at all times. I am on short term disability from work. I never know when an episode will happen.
Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:
I have been in 2 ER’s, and both discharged me. I had an episode in ER and dr saw everything but discharged me with ADIVAN, for anxiety. I have yet to see a neurologist. They say they can’t get me in until 2/21/2022. I have had an EEG, MRI, EKG and a ct scan and everything come back “normal”.
Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?
Only to my pcp and a neurosurgeon
Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?
Nothing has helped or prevented any episodes
Q: What do you wish others knew?
That the side effects are different for everyone and to go with your gut feeling.
Just one of the videos I have of the side effects I have:
