Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

Prior to the vaccine, my life was very active. I was retired after serving 22yrs in the U.S .Army. I had a very outgoing lifestyle, went to the gym 4-5 days a week to stay fit. Played golf and and fished with friends! I was very active in my local car club being a car guy going to events in surrounding states regularly. Camping and traveling to see friends and family. Just enjoying life that i had worked so hard for.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

Soon after my second shot, I began to feel weak and light headed, I began to feel strange feelings in my heart( like it was flip flopping in my chest). When this would happen I would feel faint and would have pain in my chest, my heart rate would sore and my legs and arms would get weak like i had no strength. This feeling became worse and worse, to the point that i thought i was having an heart attack! So of course I went to the ER , they would run the standard test which would all come back negative. As soon as I told them that this all started after receiving the vaccine I could immediately feel the air leave the room and the Docs would just look at me like i was making it up and down play what i was feeling. But within weeks my symptom's became to worsen... I was having bad heart palpitation's, weight loss, extreme fatigue, nausea, shortness of breath, felt like a truck was parked on my chest. I couldn't walk to the kitchen with out triggering an episode. So 5 ER visits later they decided to admit me and run tests(EKG/Ultra sound/Stress test, CT scan/ Blood tests/ETC... Was told all was normal and it was most likely Panic attacks..... and then they discharged me. 3 day later I passed out in a friends car and was rush to the ER once again. And Again I explained this all started after my vaccine shot. And again I was told I don't know what I talking about and the vaccine is safe. They Gave me a MCot heart monitor to wear for 30days and ran more tests. Was told It might be MS, did brain scan and No!, said it might be my liver-test and No!, told it might be my pancreas!-test and No! Anything but to attach this to the vaccine. After a month of the Heart monitor the Cardiologist said he saw some disruptions in my heart and it had beat an extra 20,000 time then it needed too, but all this was ok or normal! and said I was good to go... 3 Days later I was awoken from a dead sleep and my heart had gone into AFib and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance, and stayed in afib for 6 hours! I am now on AFib meds and the doc still refuses to acknowledge this in any way has anything to do with vaccine.. I am 7 months into this nightmare and my heart not right, I am unable to drive, do anything active for fear it could could my heart to start flip flopping around and cause more damage. Since this started I have been to several ERs more then 18 times, 2 hospital stays, 1 ambulance ride... with still no answers or anyone willing to say or explore the idea this is vaccine related! I ma sure there is more to tell or I leaving out, but so much has happed it is hard to remember it all...

Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?

My life as I knew it has ended. I am confined to my home and can no longer do anything active in any way for fear it will and does trigger another episode.

Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:

Medical folks either don't believe you or are afraid to have their names tied to someone with a reaction to the vaccine. I understand this because they have families to care for to. But it is wrong.... Dead wrong! I feel like I am from another planet when I tell them what I believe has cause this and it is terrible to feel like this.

Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?

I believe it was sent to VEARS, but onlu after months of issues and it wasnt done because they wanted to , only when i pushed the issue. And At this point I have no proof that they even did that.

Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?

For a short time it seemed like allergy medicine help, anti histamine. but not for long. The heart issues is the main one that is still present, with the terrible pain in my sternum and ribs. low strength and energy+fatique are still on going. with shortness of breath. The weight loss has stopped (total of 20lbs lost). but struggling to put back on since i am unable to do anything active.
