Active full of energy farm girl on a 200 acre farm.. raising cattle.. sheep.. and hay producer

Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?

Winter months are slow.. income gets tight.. we have three children to care for.. But couldn't without a job - without a vaccine

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

Received vaccine Jan 12 2022 late morning.. felt good after.. did regular work..

Jan 12 evening.. arm was tender but not serious

Jan 13 morning.. woke up with tightness in arm and slight headache.. however do suffer from sinuses issues so thought nothing of it.

Continue my day. Did chores.. feeling tired through day.. however maintained.. finished my evening of farm chores.. c

Got kids settled.. felt tired.. my arm sore.. my headache became worse.. toke my reg sinus medicine and called it a night.

Jan 14 2022.. woke up still with headache.. did morning farm chores.. then split sum firewood only to feel completely out of breath. My chest hurt. Felt nausea.. my headache was unreal.. thought I best get summing to eat as I do admit I skipped out on breakfast..

Got a bite to eat.. took some more sinus medicine.. went to go to the bathroom only to feel very nausea and disoriented..felt like I was gonna faint.. yelled for my husband.. he came rushing.. I sat on floor to place head between legs.. only to have a tingling sensation come though my body.. then a feeling of numbness..I spoke to my husband and told him I couldn't feel my body.. my whole left side was completely numb.. and then it started to have tremors..

I was rushed to hospital.. only to be discriminated by the paramedics.. accused me to be having a drug overdose.. they transport me to hospital where I sat for 2 hours without medical care.. unable to feel my left side.. have uncontrollable tremors.. difficulty breathing.. I had assist from another patient to call my husband to cone get me. He then drives me to next local hospital where I was admitted instantly.. hooked up to intervese and giving treatment and ran multiple tests..

Was told by emergency doctor it was a reaction from my vaccine that I should be ok and the tremors should ease within time.

A week later doing follow up with family doctor.. explain my symptoms and reads over hospital forms..

He contacted a specialist in a hospital 2 hours away from my home.. to see a neurologist for treatment.. after spending 4 days there. Running multiple test.. blood work.. EKG.. MRI.. Ultrasound.. I was diagnosed with FND functional neurological disorder..

Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?

I'm incapable to dress my self.. bath myself.. my trembling keeps me awake.. The lack of mobility in my leg keeps me from maintaining daily work. I'm incapable to run my farm.. and do my daily chores.. It's taking my dreams and passion away

Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?

My mobility in my leg as improvement within the last month .. However my arm is still not

Q: Have you had Covid before? What was your experience if so?

No covid..

Q: What do you wish others knew?

I'm not one to judge nor discriminate on one's choice.. I have multiple family members and friends who are vaccinated fully and ones whom are fully against.. I just wasn't in need as I felt being a local farmer .. we kept to ourselves and never traveled
