Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

Before the vaccine I was healthy with no underlying problems. I am a mom of an 18 month old and wife to an amazing husband. We are very active and work with horses and other farm animals, so we are always busy. I am only 23, and I shouldn’t be having health issues.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

My reaction to the first vaccine, in July of 2021, made me initially think I had a cold. I went to the emergency room to be tested for Covid. I had already had Covid in March of 2021. The results came back that I was negative for covid after the first vaccine.

Within 24 hours of my second vaccine I noticed chest pain along with palpitations! I then went to the emergency room where they thought it was just from stress! I then began experiencing numbness and tingling, so I went to my primary care doctor. He thought maybe I had some Costochondritis. I was put on an anti-inflammatory. However, the pain continued to get worse. I waited several weeks for an echo of my heart which came out normal. I had 2 holter monitors that were normal as well.

I’m now 4 months in, and still trying to figure out what it is! I’ve seen a heart specialist, cardiologist, and now I am going to see a Neurologist & Rheumatologist. I’m hoping for answers!

Q; What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?

After the vaccine, I can’t work. I have no energy, and I constantly feel like I’m going die. I have constant headaches and numbness in my body! The fatigue is awful. I can’t do anything without my heart racing. The health care providers don't seem to even care!

Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:

I’m still waiting for answers as I continue to see doctors.

Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?

I’m not sure if my doctor reported it, but he has written up paperwork stating that I am not receive anymore Covid 19 vaccines due to a negative reaction to both! I have made clear to every doctor I have seen that I have not had any of these problems prior to being vaccinated.

Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?

I truly have not found anything that has helped me! I suffer everyday! I pray this all gets better, but for me I am taking it one day at a time trying to get better.

Q: What do you wish others knew?

I truly would just trust your gut. I was very serious about not getting vaccinated, but with the government I felt very pressured and ended up getting vaccinated. I really wish I would have listened to myself! Please do what you feel is best for you! - NOT the government.
