Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

Healthy fit not on any medication at time. Previous history of probable Polymyalgia. Possibly due to having 24 Flu vaccines over the years, strongly encouraged due to being a nurse. Paying off my mortgage and working full time.

Q: Would you like to share your reason(s) for getting the vaccine?

Mandated to take in order to keep my job.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

Initial dose reluctantly taken due to my history of 24 flu vaccines with probable Polymyalgia.

Headache, diarrhea and vomiting 2 days after my first dose. I presumed it was a gastric bug.

2nd dose - Began to feel unwell same evening. Headaches, night sweats, tiredness, dizziness, head congestion and swollen glands. I just felt so unwell. Worked from home on video conference but struggled with computer work. In lock down so I called a doctor online. Told what do you want me to do about it, take some panadol, drink water and stay in bed! Three weeks of this.

Phoned my own Dr’s surgery when lock down over. Phone consults only allowed and given Rx for antibiotics. Completed 10 day course but not feeling much better. Phoned requesting to be seen in person. No appointments available. Went in physically and tried to be seen. “Why do you need to be seen questioned by receptionist, because I feel very unwell. “Well you can’t be seen by a Dr if you’re unwell’ oh I need to be seen to discuss blood test I quickly said. Oh ok then but it will be at least three weeks.

Ok had to return to work as too many staff off. Finally saw GP who said straight to Hospital ED. Saw ED Dr who said something very wrong here but not having a heart attack so go back to GP tomorrow for further investigation. More bloods done but not for four days as not able to get an appointment.

Feeling exhausted. Phoned by GP that night saying I must go back to hospital. I said I can’t I’m too tired to move. Weekend so went on the Monday admitted acutely there for three weeks diagnosis of Large Vessel vasculitis. Admonished by specialist for waiting so long to be seen. ‘You would not have lived for two more weeks you’d be dead. He said haemoglobin had dropped significantly, platalet count high, white blood count high. CRP high.

Large intravenous prednisone given and AB’s IV. Unable to control inflammation with this Chemotherapy was started.

Now unable to work with no further sick leave forced to resign. Worked from home for two years but unable to pay my mortgage due to only being able to work part time.

Life today I am still under specialist care. I believe I had a cytokine storm due to this COVID Vaccine. They put it down to Polymyalgia as they refused to blame it the COVID Vaccine since they believed it to be safe and effective!

My health has never returned to prior the vaccine and I now have neuropathy in my feet and hands which there is nothing they can do to help with and of course due to Polymyalgia! I now am going to have to go back to full-time work or they will foreclose on my mortgage in three weeks time.

There is no help in New Zealand for vaccine injuries as the medical professionals do not believe it could be possible.
