Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?
48 year old Finance professional with zero medical issues.
Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?
08/05/21: I received the 1st dose.
08/08/21: I began having heart palpitations while sitting completely still periodically throughout the day. They intensified as my activity increased.
08/10/21: I went to the ER because those heart palpitations were coming with intense chest and back pressure, and I believed I was have a heart attack. The Doctor said that it wasn't related to the vaccination despite my erratic heart rate and elevated blood pressure. The doctor then referred me to a cardiologist.
08/12/21: The Cardiologist reviewed chart from the ER and said that I have acute anxiety and to see my GP.
08/18/21: My GP prescribed 30 days .25 mg Xanax and to call for refills as needed.
08/26/21: I received the 2nd dose.
08/30/21: I Woke up at 4 am choking. I threw my hand over my mouth and ran to the sink. When I removed my hand, blood came flying out of my mouth and nose. There was no stemming it. If I plugged my nose, it just rolled down my throat or out of my mouth. (I have never in my life had a bloody nose). I grabbed a plastic bowel and my tenant drove me to the ER. They said that it wasn't related to the vaccine. They stemmed the bleed for 20 minutes and sent me home. I told them I didn't think the problem was solved, and that something still felt off, but they sent me home anyway. As soon as I walked in the house, the flood gates let loose and the entire thing happened again. I bled like that for a total of 4.5 hours that morning and went to the ER twice. It was recorded as a loss of just under a pint of blood and took me a week and a half to fully recover.
Q; What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?
Compared to some of the other reactions that people have had to this, I would have to say mine were fairly superficial, as they are neither life threatening or life hindering. I just wanted to share my story in case anyone else has had similar reactions and any insight.
Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:
Referenced in my timeline above.
Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?
I reported my suspicions to the hospital, but that was obviously a dead end.
Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?
I still get heart palpitations to this day, but not as severe. The bloody nose episode never happened again.
Q: What do you wish others knew?
Do your research and make your own decision. I wish I had listened to myself. I do not support mandated vaccines.
