Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

I had lots of energy, was able to live a daily active life, and it was rare that I was sick. I didn't want to get the vaccine, but I have Hashimoto's and was told I really needed it. My Hashimoto's was in remission, and my thyroid was under control for several years.

Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?

I was told it was best if I did, because I had Hashimoto's, and I needed a good immune response to covid.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

So I didn't really think about it till now when the doctors still don't know what's wrong with me, but I started seeing my health very, very slowly decline after my second dose. It was about 6 weeks after that dose, I developed nausea that wouldn't go away. I lost 30 pounds and was bedridden, only able to eat maybe half a granola bar a day from mid-July to the end of November. As I started to feel a lot better, my doctor was insistent I get my booster, because I had been so sick. Ever since I have no energy. I feel like I am constantly fighting the flu, which has caused suicidal thoughts to kick in, along with depression of course.

Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?

My doctors still don't know what's wrong with me, and I get a lot of "it's just in your head" answers. The only thing I recently found out was I have a variant that makes it so my body doesn't push out medications through my liver as fast as others. I do have fatty liver disease, which they didn't tell me how to treat except for to go on a diet. I hope someone here has some advice for me. I still feel like I'm fighting the flu and have no energy. I'm to the point that life just isn't worth living.

Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:

Nobody has diagnosed me with anything, and they have done every test under the sun.

Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?

Doctors offices, but they insist it's not the vaccine.

Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?

No

Q: Have you had Covid before? What was your experience if so?

No

Q: What do you wish others knew?

I would have never listened to my doctors and had the vaccine, if I knew my life would be where I no longer want to live it.
