Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?
Full time job, working 46 to 50 hrs a week.
Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?
My job required it.
Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?
I’ve been diagnosed with Covid twice. The first time I wasn't vaccinated, and the second time I was vaccinated.
This last time was the worse for me. I'm not sure if it's the vaccine, but I know my life has been ruined. I started having heart palpitations. My left arm is so sore, I can’t lift it hardly at all. I have a lot of brain fog and a lot of shortness of breath. There is tightness in my chest. I now have vision loss and have to wear glasses. I have a terrible headache also. I have been diagnosed with long haul Covid, and I’m finally getting sent to UNC hospital to hopefully get some answers on what’s wrong with me. All of the local doctors in my area try to tell me it’s anxiety. No - it’s not! I’ve never had anxiety, and this is not it. So I looked up help on my own, cause after Covid I’ve been diagnosed with Graves’ disease, hyperthyroidism, heart palpitations, major depression, anxiety, GERD, and my body has gone completely down hill. I was a person that never had to go to a doctor and never had to take pills; now these doctors have me on 10 different medications. It’s horrible!
Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?
I've had to resign from my job. I’m still waiting on disability.
Q: Have you had Covid before? What was your experience if so?
Yes, twice and it has ruined my life. I’m not sure if it’s the vaccine or the shot, but I know my life has been ruined. I can’t even walk up my driveway, or go out in public, because I’m scared I will get sick. My immune system is so weak!
